Leather Crafts

Leather crafts were traditionally used in the Romanian village to make traditional shoes, boots, harnesses for horses, traditional waist belts, waistcoats and sheepskin vests. Unlike loom weaving, which was practiced in every traditional home, the leather was manually processed by a limited number of skilful leather craftsmen in a community and passed down from master to apprentice.
